Cantaloupe Protein Slushy!

As a child, my mother would make this cantaloupe slushy during the hottest days of the year. It's an incredibly refreshing and delicious drink that's also very easy to prepare.

This summer's heat wave has had me longing for this slushy every day. Then it struck me—why not turn it into a protein slushy?

Ingredients


*1 whole cantaloupe

*Some Ice

*1 scoop of your protein shake

*Lime (optional)


Kitchen Tools

*Cutting Board

*Knife

*Blender


Slushy Instructions

Step 1:

Cut the cantaloupe in halves and then quarters.

Scoop out the seeds.


Step 2:

Put all or half of the cantaloupe and half of the ice in the blender and blend.

Add your protein powder, add the rest of the cantaloupe and ice. Blend.

Tip: I don't measure the amount of ice, I go by the texture of the slushy - start with less ice, and add more if needed.
